How to Arrive
Even if you don’t select our transportation service, you can reach the Budapest Centrum Hostel easily from anywhere.
From the Ferihegy International airport:
At arrivals, take Airport bus No. 200 to Kobánya Kispest. From here you can transfer to the blue (line 3) metro. Take the metro to Arany János stop (11 stops from where you get on). Once above ground, follow the yellow arrows until you arrive at the Hostel. It is 3 minute walk. You will need 2 single tickets (320 HUF (about 1,2 EUR)/single ticket). From door to door, the travel time is about 1 hour.
From the Keleti (Eastern) railway station:
Look for signs for the red metro (line 2), and travel to the Kossuth Lajos Square stop. From here the Hostel is a 3 minute walk – follow the yellow arrows. You will need one single ticket (320 HUF (about 1,2 EUR)/single ticket).
Alternative ways:
You can take the trolley line (number 78) from Garay Street to the Kossuth Lajos square. You will need one single ticket (320 HUF (about 1 EUR)/single ticket). It should take you about 10 minutes to arrive.
From the Nyugati (Western) railway station:
Look for signs for the blue metro (line 3) to Arany János Street. Follow the yellow arrows, from here the Hostel is 3 minutes walking. You will need one short section metro ticket/in Hungarian is “szakasz jegy”/ (240 HUF (about 0.80 EUR)/short section metro ticket).
From the Déli (southern) railway station:
Take the red metro (line 2) to Kossuth Lajos square, in the direction of Örs vezér tere. When exiting the station, look for the yellow arrows as you walk for 3 minutes to arrive at the Hostel. You will need one short section metro ticket (240 HUF (about 0.80 EUR)/short section metro ticket). Travel time is about 15 minutes.
Népliget International Bus Terminal:
Take the blue metro (line 3) to Arany János utca and walk 3 minutes to the Hostel. Travel time is about 15-20 minutes.
From the metro stations (Kossuth Lajos Sq, Arany János utca) you can find yellow arrows on the ground which lead you to the hostel.
